Loss-in-weight feeders
are used when high accuracy is required and when it is
necessary to display (by weight) the feed rate, the weight
in the hopper, and the total amount fed. These feeders
can be employed in continuous or batch modes.

| FlexWall® Feeder |

 The
Loss-in-Weight Flexwall Feeder is chosen for applications
requiring the metering of dry ingredients at weight-controlled
rates. The Standard Loss-in-Weight Flexwall feeder incorporates
onto its weigh frame a standard flexwall feeder. The
flexwall feed mechanism comes complete with a paddle-agitated
polyurethane hopper and variable speed screw system
to aid in providing precise gravimetric (weight controlled)
feeding of powder, pellet and fibrous materials. This
feeder features easily changeable agitation amplitude
and frequency, as well as easy removal of hopper for
cleaning.

Dosing Screw Feeder is recommended for ingredients that
have one or more of the following characteristics:
- Floodable and sticky powders particularly at low rates
- Ingredient temperatures above 80ºC
- Where all stainless steel construction on contact parts
is required
- For "energetics" (explosive ingredient) applications |
| Vario Modular Feeder |

 The
Vario Modular Feeder is designed for gravimetric feeding
of both well and poorly flowing bulk ingredients ranging
from powders to fibers. It consists of a system of standard
modules for variable combination such as weighing modules,
feed modules, hopper modules and agitator modules as well
as a free-standing mounting base. Different module configurations
allow ingredient specific design and maximum production
flexibility. Suitable for applications where a single
feeder is needed to feed more than one ingredient. |

| Liquid Loss-In-Weight Feeder |
| |
 The
Liquid Loss-in-Weight Feeder weighs and controls the flow
of a continuously pumped liquid. This superior feeder
is very accurate because it measures actual weight. Models
are available for feed rates between 10 grams per hour
and 10,000 lbs per hour to within feed rate accuracies
of ±0.1%. These feeders are not only precise but
versatile and can control and meter even difficult liquids
which are hot, viscous or slurried and add them to dry
ingredients reliably and consistently. Pumps are selected
to match specific ingredients. Weigh tanks are specially
designed for each application.
