 The

| Flake And Cake Breaker |
|
 The
Prater Flake/Cake Breaker was designed to provide a
simple, rugged, economical means of reducing compacted
materials into the smaller, granulated product required
for most processing or packaging lines. A wide variety
of products can be handled, including: chemicals, minerals,
salt, sugar and other food products, resins, pharmaceuticals,
ceramic powders, etc. can be handled. The unit can be
used to reduce natural agglomerations which can occur
during storage or shipping, to reduce materials deliberately
compacted in densification processes, or in recycling
or waste disposal applications. Because of the comparatively
slow operating speed, this type of reduction equipment
generally reduces the size of the product without generating
too many fines. The lump size, percentage of lumps in
the total flow of material, and the flow rate required
all effect selection of the proper size and type. Variable
moisture content, fibrous content, stickiness, clay-like
properties may require special features such as screens,
variable speeds, etc.

| Continuous Mixer |

 The
Prater Continuous Mixer is a high speed, continuous
mixer designed for a wide range of applications such
as mixing several dry materials, liquid and dry blending,
or producing a slurry. Its unique design permits a wide
variation operating parameters, ensuring optimum mixing
conditions for almost any requirement. This series provides
a homogenous mix without lumps or agglomerates and minimum
segregation. Its adjustable product residence time makes
it exceptionally efficient. Applications include chemicals,
foodstuffs, minerals, organics, plastics, resins, carbon,
etc.

| Dust Controller |
| The Prater Dust Controller
is designed to take fine powdery dust from bag houses
and other type dust collectors and, on a continuous basis,
form it into prills or a slurry for recycling or easier
and more efficient disposal. By adding inexpensive binders
such as water, and combining this with well-known methods
of forming agglomerations, an expensive nuisance and disposal
problem can be converted, in many cases, to a usable product.
This unit uses little energy, is self contained, quiet
and dust free. Product recovery systems can also be provided.
Available in mild or stainless steel. |
