Aerosplit Air Classifier
The REMA AEROSPLIT, Type MAC is a high efficiency classifier with external collection of the fines; advantages are high efficiency at high capacities, low power consumption, and a certain self-cleaning tendency making the AEROSPLIT well suited for sticky products. This type of separation equipment is practical for feed product 100 mesh or finer.
Microsplit Air Classifier
The REMA MICROSPLIT, Type HES, Air Classifier is a self-contained unit machine. Because of the construction features the MICROSPLIT is well suited for classification of products requiring processing under a gas blanket. In this case the air inside the classifier is replaced by gas. The MICROSPLIT works on a similar principal to the AEROSPLIT except that the product enters the machine down a central tube and through a rotating dispersing cage. The air is circulated within the unit by a fan which is close-coupled to the separating rotor. The fines passing through the rotor and fan are collected in the outer housing as in a cyclone.
